Overview:

  • Spirituality and meditation are generally believed to be associated with old age or retired life as a pass-time activity. Nothing can be more contrary than this.
  • This concept is the result of ignorance about the power, benefits of meditation and its potential for huge benefits in day-to-day active life.
  • The stress and strain of our modern-day life make it all the more necessary that we have sufficient inner energy to deal with fast-changing situations and changes; and recharge our mental faculties regular meditation.
  • When we lack inner energy, we start to experience stress and a feeling of being trapped, gradually, over time, leading to illness and disease, as our mental, emotional and physical health is thrown out of balance.
  • Meditation when practised regularly, brings about orderliness in our thought processes, enhances focus and productivity, not to speak of its positive impact on physical health. Modern medical science also acknowledges that more than 80% deceases are psychosomatic.
  • Meditation is a science which can be learnt in a methodical manner so as to improve one’s power and quality of thoughts and resultant actions. Meditation acts an exercise for the mind and intellect and make them more flexible and responsive.
  • Meditation gives us the power to choose our thoughts and avoid those which are negative and wasteful. We start to respond to situations, rather than just reacting to them.
  • With spiritual awareness, one begins to live with harmony, create better and happier, healthier relationships and change life in a most positive way.
