Lecture Meeting on Important Recent Decisions under GST (Virtual Mode)

Recently, various Courts have decided on certain important matters and have laid down principles determining the interpretation under the GST Law. Some of the important decisions:
- The Bombay High Court (Goa Bench) quashes GST demand Order against Goa University holding that no GST on Affiliation, Migration or Sports Fees received by university.
- The Karnataka High Court held that sale of semi-finished (under construction) shopping mall is not amenable to GST.
- The Kerala High Court has struck down certain provisions of the CGST and KGST Acts and held that the principle of mutuality still continues.
About the Speaker: V. Raghuraman is a designated Senior Advocate. He is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and Company Secretary with an illustrious academic record which includes 1st Rank in B.Com, 38h Rank CA Inter, 24th Rank CA Final, 2nd Rank ICWA Inter and 25th Rank ICWA Final.
His areas of specialization includes taxation, FEMA and other allied subjects. He has been practicing for over 3 decades before the Supreme Court, High Courts and Tribunals.
