FEMA STUDY CIRCLE MEETING ON OVERVIEW OF FEMA ACT, 1999 & KEY DEFINITIONS (HYBRID MODE)

The Study Circle conducts various study meeting on the subject of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). Learning the subject of FEMA offers an opportunity to add a new feather in the kitty of your existing professional practice.

The various meetings are planned for the financial year 2022-23 encompassing the following topics:

1. Overview of the Act and key definitions.

2. Permissible Current Account and Capital Account Transactions.

3. Realisation, repatriation and surrender of foreign exchange Regulations

4. Liberalized Remittance Scheme

5. Remittance of the Assets outside India

6. Acquisition of Immovable Property in India and Overseas,

7. Possession & Retention of Foreign Currency

8. Establishment in India of Branch or Office or other place of business in India and overseas

9. Export + Import of Goods & Services

10. Export & Import of Currency

11. Manner of Receipt and Payment

12. ECB and Borrowing in Rupees

13. Inbound Investment and Outbound Investment

14. Compounding of the contraventions
