Physical Workshop on Ind AS 117: Insurance Contracts

MCA has notified IND AS 117 on insurance contracts. This is probably the first accounting standard that is industry specific. Globally, this standard has been considered as complex and subject to several implementation challenges. Auditors and management of insurance companies need to be prepared under the new standard from the implementation date set by IRDAI. Towards this objective, Accounting and Auditing Committee of CTC has kept 3 hours session on this standard.
