A law is enacted by the Legislature and interpreted by the Courts. The law interpreted by the Supreme Court of India is the Law of the Land and binding on all.
It is rightly said that The Gold never loses its shine even if it is buried beneath the earth for years. Similarly, there are certain landmark judgments of the Apex Court which though rendered 50-60 years back, but they lay down important fundamental principles. Such judgments are still alive and kicking and are still considered as guiding light by all.
This Web-based Lecture series has been planned with a view to enable the participants to revisit some fundamental Supreme Court judgments and gauge the applicability of such judgments in today’s time. Eminent faculties with years of experience will guide the participants through this enriching journey.
