In view of the passing of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2019, which is notified on 31st July, 2019 the Chamber of Tax Consultants is organising a Lecture meeting to understand the nuances of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2019 and also to update on important recent developments under the Companies Act, 2013.
The Amendment Act, 2019 brings about crucial changes in the Parent Act on various important provisions, notably compliances with respect to Corporate Social Responsibility and penal liability arising out of the same. It also brings about sea change on matters pertaining to dematerialised shares, compounding of offences, debarment of Auditors, registration of charges, bar on holding of office etc.
It is the endeavour of the chamber to present a cohesive and holistic view with respect to the various interpretations ushered by the Amendment and to understand and absorb its impact in the coming future for professionals to enable and enrich them.
